Instructions: Click on the link above to access the PDF instructions for creating the log cabin heart block. Feel free to raid your stash for materials, or check with the participating shops for available kits. The choice is yours, as long as you follow these important guidelines:

Fabrics: Please use 100% Cotton Quilting fabric for your blocks. This ensures the quilt’s quality and durability. Repurposed fabrics like clothing should be avoided.

Background Color: Use the same color for your background fabric, such as cream, white, black, or any other color of your preference. Different fabric prints are welcome, as long as the background color remains consistent. This helps preserve the heart design within the block.

Heart Strips: Let your creativity shine through! Feel free to use a variety of colors for the heart strips, adding vibrancy and joy to your block.

Quantity: To fully participate in the event and collect stamps on your passport, you will need a total of 10 Log Cabin Quilt blocks. Each of the ten participating quilt shops will require the exchange of one block in return for a stamp. While the minimum requirement is 10 blocks, feel free to create additional blocks if you wish to increase your chances of winning prizes at the bronze level.

Packaging Your Blocks: Once you complete each block, place them in separate Ziplock bags. Don’t forget to include your name, phone number and email in each bag. This way, we can contact you if you’re the lucky winner!

Remember, the log cabin heart blocks you create will be used for charity quilts, bringing warmth, comfort, and love to those in need. So, grab your fabric, thread your needle, and let your sewing journey begin! Sew those log cabin heart blocks, collect your passport stamps, and make a positive impact. Good luck, and may your stitches be filled with joy and generosity.
